Schizometaphormosis: Being a Human Being
‘Schizometaphormosis, or Being a Human Being, is an artistic documentary integrating psychology, philosophy and physics in pursuit of the greatest mystery of all: What it really means to be a human being. Follow along as I complete the final stages of the project.
"I have a secret to tell you, though you’ve heard it before. You’ve heard it so much that you’ve forgotten it. All you can do to remember is try and forget. Yet the trouble remains that you’re so very set in the way that you think and so what you expect keeps on missing the mark. Don’t forget that I warned you before we embark on this journey that seemingly starts in the heart of the rational. What lies ahead for us is truly unimaginable.
Our story will take us from the beginning of time all the way through to that sublime moment you woke into life as if living a dream. Perhaps it’s not nearly so far from the truth as it seems. Let’s begin at the start, if there is such a thing, and soon we’ll find that our thinking will bring us closer to the brink than we’ve ever been. The final moments, however, have to be seen: What it really means to be a human being."

Live Performance
Tide me over produces in Propellerhead Reason. Finalised samples and sounds are exported and played live on a Novation MK3 Launchpad through Ableton Live Lite. A dynamic electronic setup allows for loud home grown sounds to move around with ease.
